They showed up really fast and just wasnt one officer but 3. They helped me and stood to make sure everything was ok. They really showed that they cared thank you Thornton Police.
The gas station next door to the motel I was staying at decided to pressure wash their canopy all night long. I complained to the police but they said that they were cleaning up a spill. The underside of the canopy had fuel spilled on it? All night long listening to that whining noise and my complaints were ignored. No sleep and was told by the officers that they were cleaning up a spill. What a lie.
I also see officers all the time not using their turn signals and placing their flashers on only to go through red lights so they don't have to wait. I call it into them but they always have an excuse somehow. Seems shady that your officers will do that but its gonna take 3 hours for someone to show up at my home when someone tries to break in.
Officer N. Wolff (Wolfe?) saw that I had a flat tire and pulled over to help. He offered to change my tire for me and I was so thankful! Great job Officer Wolff and Thornton Police :)
Everyone I have ever encountered from the Thornton Police Department has been extremely pleasant and kind. They seem to be a great department with great values. I feel safe knowing they are looking out for me.
Over 2 hours ago I reported that my house had tried to be broken into and no one is here yet. 1 hour ago someone told me 2 officers were on the way and would be here soon. That's something right there considering they're not here yet and I live 4 minutes from the station. Are you waiting until my family sits down to dinner to come over and interupt? Its going on 6pm now I called at 3.
Edit: just called back at the 3hrs mark and they told me my report had been cleared and someone had been out already. No one has been here. What a let down. I'm about to be eating and putting my son to bed so I guess ill just wonder whether or not someone is going to break in again tonight. Thanks for nothing Thornton pd.
