First of all, the gentleman questioned the fact that our 2 year old dog was in kidney failure when we called at 10pm last night. We say "we think we're heading there" and his sarcastic response is you think or you know?!
Our dog was displaying symptoms of cardiac arrest so we're in shock, pardon us for not using correct diction. We get there and the tech sees us. After paying $89 we enter a room only to be told we should go to a specialist somewhere else. I ask what they can do because it's an emergency facility. She says diagnostic tests and EUTHANASIA. Not delicately put and no tests were done. I ask leading questions like "hey, so it sounds like she has fluid in her lungs, would you recommend doing an xray or ultrasound here? She says "hit or miss." Wrong answer. Fluid is best seen in an ultrasound. All this tells me they don't care about doing tests and don't know how to treat. Sensitivity training is needed and patients should be wary of being "sold" tests that aren't necessary. I refused that they treat my dog, so we left to another 24 emergency and they immediately started her on iv fluids saying she was tachycardic and already looked at her heart. Both of these things could have been done at community pet hospital, but instead nothing happened to ease her suffering there. The tech at community seemed like she was making up answers. Basically, our pup went into cardiac arrest at the second location, and we chose to have her put down because she couldn't breathe. I am so sad she had to be seen by 2 separate clinics and put through extra stress but am glad she got much more professional care than what she received at community pet hospital.
I'm a little hyper sensitive when it comes to Chief (my dog)and you guys are amazing, I'm always calling up there and coming up there for something for him .. whether it be a simple question or schedule appointment, bring him in for his treatments, prescription refills or an emergency situation in the middle of the night the staff and Doctors treat him and me incredible. I would absolutely recommend anybody to go there between laser therapy, acupuncture, grooming, 24 hours service... somebody ALWAYS answers the phone and to me that's invaluable if I'm concerned in the middle of the night and need some reassurance or to be able to take him in immediately because for me waiting until morning feel like forever if i thunk he's hurting! I couldn't ask for a better place to to take care of Chief...and Me for that matter like I said I'm a little hypersensitive ☺ . Thank you all for what you do there!
Excellent service. Our pup Khaleesi was not doing well. She end up having to spend the night. They did a great job, the treatments provided were on track with her issue. She was back to the dog we were used to. Very happy with the service. Best care possible was given to our 11 mo old German Shepherd.
Sadly, we had to put our Chocolate Lab down a week ago, I was planning on writing a review anyway, but just had to do it when we got a personalized card in the mail yesterday! They made a hard night so much better with their awesome care, and love for our dog and us! If you have to make a hard choice like this, they are a great place to do it, for a reasonable price. Awesome service! Thank you so much.
-Worked all night and called this one for my Chihuahua and i was getting really worried about him .The earliest they could see was six hours later,unless i felt it was a total emergency and they could try sooner. The staff and my dogs new Doctor, Lizzie Bruce, were incredible nice to my dog giving him treats and since i didn't sleep they took the time to explain everything to me in simpler terms:) . 5+++ stars very professional, and highly recommend!!!
